QC Chemistry Lab Internship
Union Agener is an animal health manufacturing company located in Augusta, Georgia. We are offering an internship for a college student to support our QC Chemistry Lab.
Intern Job Responsibilities:
- Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
- Assist QC Lab Manager and staff as directed by performing quality-control related activities and work on projects as assigned.
- Follow laboratory procedures and QC Lab safety guidelines. Complete and maintain all required documentation for procedures, recording work and results.
- Learn and apply knowledge of relevant laboratory techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to reproduce results accurately and consistently.
- Prepare solutions, media, samples and reagents as applicable.
- Filing, data entry, customer service and special projects as assigned.
- Engage and attend team meetings.
- Accept designated, laboratory-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions for improvement.
- Support project initiatives working closely with Chemistry Lab mentors.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Chemistry or science-related field of study
- Solid computer skills
- Sophomore or second year in college
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
